Howbill Farming was recently added to the Carbon Heroes Digital Recognition Platform in recognition of the continuous work we do to improve sustainable practices in our business. Per the Carbon Heroes website, they celebrate food and agri-businesses taking meaningful action across key areas of sustainability. They aim to recognise those going the extra mile to build a resilient future.
Both the farm and the packhouse have been recognised in the areas of Foundational Compliance and Carbon. As we are focused on future generations, we undertake to keep expanding and
improving our sustainability efforts. Our efforts include green energy, responsible fuel management, wise water use, taking care of our soil health and biodiversity and through responsible waste management with a circular approach.
